Presenting "A Very Kraftwerk Summer" by Christopher Hutsul, Published by Koyama Press
Annie Koyama of Koyama Press has published a comic I wrote a few years ago called A Very Kraftwerk Summer. It originally appeared in Taddle Creek Magazine.
The story is a memoir of a lazy summer spent with the boys from K-werk. The journey takes the posse from the mall, to the soccer pitch and beyond. The boys sing dance, sing, and, in the end, even manage to push a few tears through those austere, Germanic eyes... Look for the Devo cameo!
It's a lovely little book if I do say so myself. The cover was hand-printed by Studio XIX on Japanese wood vaneer paper, and the pages are full colour (and by full colour I mean red and black). Click image for larger view.
Thank you Annie Koyama for bringing this to life, and for your support in general. News on availability and distribution will be posted on this entry soon.
